Originally from a small farm in Ohio, Matt developed a strong work ethic early on through farming and mechanical trades. His career in construction and mechanics eventually took him west to Tucson, Arizona, where he worked as a contractor for over 21 years. As the physical demands of contracting grew more intense with time, Matt began searching for a new chapter—one with more trees, more water, and a stronger sense of community.
That search led him to the Tennessee Valley. After exploring the area, he knew Northern Alabama was the perfect fit. He made Huntsville his home in 2024 and hasn’t looked back since.

The amount of garbage leaving my mother’s house was tremendous. He was very compassionate to my elderly mother and her state and even worked through an over 90 degree house. 2 bathrooms are now able to be used, the fridge that was full of gnats and fruit flies is spotless, I feel safe eating in my mothers home now thanks to the hard work put in by Tact. The living room is now walkable and uncluttered and there is definitely more space and less of a tripping hazard in the garage. I’m sure this isn’t the last time I will need assistance and will definitely use them again in the future.
